Creating a World Where Mental Health Conversations Are Safe, Supportive, and Normal

Hi, I’m Francesca Reicherter — speaker, author, and founder of Inspiring My Generation. After surviving three suicide attempts and losing my uncle to suicide, I made it my mission to prevent others from experiencing the same pain. Today, I advocate for accessible mental health education, empowering conversations, and healing resources that support both individuals and organizations.

Through keynotes, interactive workshops, published workbooks, and hosting the podcast, Normalize the Conversation, I help people feel seen, supported, and inspired to heal.

TESTIMONIALS

During the NAMI Florida conference, I attended Fran's workshop on positive self-talk and coping skills. The session provided a valuable experience through an engaging, interactive presentation centered on informative practical strategies for wellbeing, especially focused on youth and young adults. I learned additional techniques not only to talk to myself in a supportive way but also to understand navigating concrete fundamental ways to do so. Inner dialogue can be quite powerful when reframing negative thoughts into a more positive uplifting light and enhanced self-awareness. The session also shared essential coping skills that anyone could use to become more resilient with their own adventurous mental-health journeys. Fran did a phenomenal job in delivering this important topic to attendees and conducted a brilliant presentation that I hope to her as a speaker again at next year's conference.

Being a guest on Normalize The Conversation was an incredible experience. The podcast creates a safe and welcoming space to openly discuss mental health with honesty and compassion. I appreciated the opportunity to share my journey, knowing that every conversation is rooted in hope, resilience, and breaking the stigma around mental health.

Through meaningful dialogue and valuable resources, Normalize The Conversation not only raises awareness but also empowers listeners with the tools to take steps forward in their mental health journey. The impact of these discussions is truly inspiring, and I’m grateful to have been part of such an important movement.

If you’re looking for a space where mental health is talked about with authenticity and care, this is the podcast to listen to.

Very insightful information. I hope to implement her knowledge to help a family member experiencing a similar experience. I hope to implement better check in and supportive statements in to my faculty lifestyle. Thank you.

I thought it was a very engaging and heartfelt conversation. It is a great reminder to check in with others, in and out of the therapy office.

My Story Is Evidence That Hope Exists.

After surviving three suicide attempts, losing loved ones, and navigating the silence of stigma, I found healing through writing, speaking, and advocacy. This is my story — a journey from hopelessness to purpose. If you’ve ever felt like you weren’t enough, you are not alone. Hope is real, and your story isn’t over yet.

Why I Advocate for 988

At 20, I became a three-time suicide attempt survivor. Years later, I found my voice at Florida’s Mental Health Day of Hope and Healing. In this post, I share why I advocate for accessible mental health care, what 988 means to me, and how early intervention and sustainable funding can save lives.
